Is it a comic strip?

Anime?

Or just Disney?

Walt Disney had said,”Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever”.

Whether you're creating political cartoons, developing animation for a production studio or working on personal comics or projects, a career as a Cartoonist has many paths and is highly rewarding, personally and professionally.

Even today, people of all ages remember the cartoons that they have either read or watched. Be it R.K. Laxman’s comic strips in newspapers, or Pink Panther on Television.

From the older cartoons such as Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry, to the popular anime such as Naruto and Spirited Away, cartoonists have found their way into the mind and heart of children and adults alike.

Today, cartoons are not only used for entertainment, but also to represent current events, social issues with a touch of humour and sarcasm. Cartoonists are not making sketches, they are creating art that represents ideologies and showcasing the truth.

Memes and Digital Art have taken up the forefront to become the new Comics. These forms of cartoons and animations have gained popularity on social media immensely, and have a tendency to become ‘viral’.
