University Of Brighton

The University of Brighton has been part of the city of Brighton & Hove since 1859, starting as a school of art in the kitchens of the Royal Pavilion and growing to become the diverse and inclusive institution it is today.

We have more than 21,000 students and 2,800 staff studying and working at our five campuses in Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings. Subjects taught here range from medicine to engineering, psychology to illustration, sport science to English literature.

Admission Criteria & Eligibility

We require a Higher Secondary School Certificate (at least 70% from Standard XII Examinations from CBSE/ICISE/and state boards – Gujurat, Karnataka, Maharastra, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal) or an acceptable international foundation year or equivalent.

IELTS : 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component)
Cambridge : CAE B2 score 52 (with a Borderline pass in each component)
Cambridge : FCE B (with a Good pass in each component)
Pearson (PTE) : 56 (with no less than 51 in each component)
Trinity : ISE II with a Pass with Merit in each component
