VelTech MultiTech Dr.Rangarajan Dr.Sakunthala Engineering College, Chennai was established in 2002 by a well known industrialist couple dedicated to public service, Dr.R.Rangarajan and Dr.R. Sakunthala Rangarajan, who by then had 30 years of experience in developing industries and international trade. VelTech Engineering College was established with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, for providing high quality technical education.

​Auditorium:
Auditorium is a destination where all the activities and functions take place in an institution, without an auditorium, the institution is incomplete. In our institution, we have spacious auditorium which is fully accommodated with air conditioners. Many Cultural Programs also festivals like Onam, Saraswathy pooja, Ganesh Chadurthy etc, are celebrated in this auditorium.
Seminar Hall:
Most of our seminars for a less number of audiences will be conducted in the seminar hall. More than seven seminar and conference halls are available in our college. In this hall not more than fifty peoples can be seated at a time. Mostly national conferences and other seminars will be conducted in these halls.

Facilities
Library:
The under graduate library is fully computerized and abides more than 31,515 volumes, 7878 Titles and 1026 CD’S are accessible. Besides these books and journals, we have news papers, Journals and magazines are brought through subscription. The library has joined INDEST consortium for e-journals access at discounted rates fixed by MHRD. This enables us to access the journals online.
