Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute

The Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) was established in 1887. It is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Campus

Library
The institute has well equipped library. The VJTI Library is the key resource for the information that is needed during studies. Library staff is ready to help and advise the students from the day they arrive to the day they come to write their project and dissertation work.
Student Activities
The institute operates an array of multi-planned activities related to the curriculum to boost its output for the betterment of students. It has a counselling committee which helps students deal with difficult situations, academic or otherwise. The institute has gymkhana with sports, both outdoor and indoor. There are playgrounds for Cricket, Football, Volleyball and a Tennis court. At the end of the academic year, the gymkhana group organises a sports day.
Placement
The college has a Placement Cell that is headed by a faculty member of the college. All activities pertaining to campus recruitment are managed by this cell. Companies are invited to the campus every year. The cell is also involved in training and counselling students. Personality development programmes are also conducted for the students. The cell facilitates industry institute interaction on particular occasions.
