The University of Glamorgan is a university based in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales with campuses in Treforest, Glyntaff, Merthyr Tydfil, Tyn y Wern and Cardiff. The university has seven departments and faculties, and is the only university in Wales which has no current or former link with the University of Wales. The University has several campuses Trefforest - the main campus plays host to the bulk of academic departments and facilities, including the indoor sports centre and students union. Glyntaff - originally established purely for law, it now hosts exclusively the Nursing Courses under the Faculty of Health, Sport and Science. All Science and Sport, including Police Sciences. Partner colleges - The University has specialised "partner colleges" throughout South Wales; for example, Barry College for aeronautical engineering. Merthyr Tydfil - Merthyr Tydfil College has become part of the University of Glamorgan Group (but not part of the University), although its focus remains on delivering Further Education rather than Higher Education. Tyn y Wern - Is home to the university's sports facilities and playing fields. Admission Criteria & Eligibility
To gain admission into the university:
A student from CBSE, ISC would require to obtain 65% and above in their grade 12. Student pursuing A levels should score a BCC. An IELTS score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 is required.
Application deadline is usually in the second week of January. Applications received after this date will only be considered if places are still available on the degree course.
