University Of East Anglia

The University of East Anglia (UEA) has been ranked 12th by The Times Good University Guide 2017 and 14th by The Complete University Guide 2019.We are an internationally renowned university based in a campus that provides top quality academic, social and cultural facilities to over 15,000 students.

The campus is located in 320 acres of rolling parkland just two miles from the centre of Norwich, the cathedral city, and England’s first UNESCO City of Literature. This uniquely-placed University is also a leading member of Norwich Research Park, one of Europe's biggest concentrations of researchers in the fields of environment, health and plant science.

Sporting facilities on campus include the University Sportspark which houses an Olympic-sized swimming pool and regularly hosts international sporting events. UEA also has the world famous Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and hosts an International Literary Festival which has included famous names such as Ian McEwan, Kazuo Ishiguro and Anne Enright (all alumni of UEA's Creative Writing course).

Admission Criteria & Eligibility

Students achieving high percentages (75% +) in the Higher Secondary School Certificate- Standard 12 awarded through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the India Council for School Examinations (ICSE), or any equivalent Standard 12 All India Secondary School Certificate will be considered for entry to the First Year of three year Bachelor degrees. Holders of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 32 - 35 points will be considered for direct admission to Bachelor degree courses.
IELTS : 6.0 overall with minimum of 5.5 in each component
PTE : 55 overall with minimum of 51 in each component
Cambridge English: First (also known as First Certificate in English) : 169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component - (January 2015 onwards)
Grade C overall and Borderline in all components - (before January 2015)
Cambridge English: Advanced (also know as Certificate in Advanced English) :169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component - (January 2015 onwards)
Level B2 overall - (before January 2015)
Cambridge English: Proficiency :169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component - (January 2015 onwards)
Level C1 overall - (before January 2015)
