The University of Cambridge is rich in history - its famous Colleges and University buildings attract visitors from all over the world. Applications from students taking CBSE or ISC Class XII examinations will be considered but only for the following courses: Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences. To be shortlisted for interview such applicants will need to have achieved a minimum CGPA of 9.8 and grade A1 in their Class XII examinations in the relevant subjects. Successful Class XII applicants have usually undertaken additional study outside of their main qualification. In the past this has meant good performance in relevant science Olympiads, SAT Subject Tests, or College Board AP exams. Any offers of admission made will be conditional on performance in the IIT-JEE (Advanced) or, in the case of Economics or Mathematics, on performance in STEP Mathematics.
