Campus

Library Facility
Libraries are the hub of academic life of the campus. Housed in spacious halls, the Libraries are well stacked with text books, technical journals, periodicals, and reference material for advanced research and development work. The schools also subscribe to DELNET and other Internet Libraries. Modern aids to Education, including online digital libraries, Audio/Video records of renowned academicians are available in Sharda University campus in different blocks of libraries. It remains open 14 hours a day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on all days, and up to 19-20 hours a day during examinations. One Air Conditioned Central library is under development phase which will remain open 24x7.
Computing Facility
The University recognizes the key role that IT plays in teaching as well as research. Therefore, it is committed to provide computing facilities of the highest standards. A high-speed optical fibre network of 1Gbps through two ISPs with wireless redundancy allows all students to access a range of services across our entire campus including student hostels with more than 200 access points.
Laboratories Facility
Sharda University has excellent laboratory facilities for carrying out teaching, research and consultancy activities in various disciplines of engineering, medical, dental sciences and mass communication. The University has state of the art labs that allow the students to experiment and bring to practice what they have learnt in theory.
Classroom Facility
The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled and all classrooms are fitted with LCD projectors and sound systems. The lecture halls can accommodate upto 200 students while the tutorial classes are designed for a strength of 30-40 students. We have a LAN-enabled campus, on which a Learning Management System(LMS) is made available, which can facilitate students to discuss academic topics, submit their assignments online, see their class notes, study through specially designed learning resources, and also refer to reference and digital library.
Campus Infrastructure
In Campus Residences:
Students, coming from all over India, get exposed to different religions and customs . We pamper students by providing amenities and groom them to manage their routine independently, tuning students to the real aspect of life, however letting them enjoy the comforts of reading newspapers and books, providing them nutritious vegetarian and non vegetarian food, safe drinking water, round the clock water supply etc. thus giving them a feeling of being at home. Separate AC/Non AC hostel for boys and girls with furnished rooms are available for more than 3200 students, in single/double/triple sharing and six seated dormitory for Nursing Students. Hostel rooms are allotted on first come-first serve basis and subject to availability.
 
Sports Facilities:
The campus at Greater Noida is the most versatile campus with various activities and sports events conducted throughout the year. The students have access to various sports facilities such as basketball, badminton & tennis courts, football, hockey and a cricket field. Students can also benefit from professional coaching available inside the campus.
 
Cafeterias:
Sharda University adopts special measures to ensure that the students are provided with healthy and hygienic food. There are about 10 cafeterias located in different blocks of the campus. The cafeterias and other eateries function on the 'Pay as you eat concept'. Apart from cafeterias, the campus also holds mini refreshment joints and Vending Machines etc.
Sharda University provides its students all the amenities and facilities to enjoy the fast paced metro lifestyle right within the campus. Leading Restaurants and Food Chains would open their outlets in the Central Food Court soon. Sagar Ratna, Amul Milk Parlour, Bikano, Café Coffee Day, Nestle are already running their outlets on the campus.
 
Gymnasium:
A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. A well equipped Air-conditioned gym having latest state-of-art equipment and machines has ensured availability of excellent fitness and health facilities for the students, faculty and staff members of the University. Instructors and trainers are available throughout the day to train the gym enthusiasts. There are two sections in the gymnasiums. One section is meant for general exercises while the other is meant for weight training. There are separate timings for boys and girls.
 
Transport Facilities:
The University runs a fleet of buses to facilitates its students and staff to commute to and from various places in Delhi, Noida and other NCR areas. All buses are deluxe and high capacity. The University provides transportation from villages as well as cities. The transport facility is provided within a radius of 90 km. Public transport buses also ply to points near the campus.
 
In Campus Call Center:
Sharda University has established its own Call Centre having dedicated well trained team of Tele-Counsellors who are the First Point of Contact (FPOC) on behalf of the University. Call Centre is available throughout the year to guide you about the University, help you in choosing the right career option and also taking you through the admission procedure. Once you are enrolled in the University we provide helpline support for answering all your day to day queries related to classes, placements, admission, loans, exams, fee, holidays, etc. It also serves as a FPOC to the parents who cannot visit the campus quite often and prefer to seek telephonic solution.
 
24*7 Wi-Fi enabled campus:
The campus has a seamless Wi'Fi network with more than 1 Gbps leased line with multiple ISPs which allow the students to connect to net anytime, any where! We have a campus LAN, with Learning Management System to facilitates students to discuss academic topics, submit their assignments online, see their class notes, study through specially designed learning resources and also refer to reference and digital library. The campus Cafes, the outer spots with relaxed & comfortable seating allow the student to complete their assignment after the classes and submit it to the teacher online within the stipulated deadline. For a student conscious of his future, the campus allows all avenues to explore the technology solutions that the university offers.
 
Community Radio - Suno Sharda 90.8 FM:
This community radio offering from Sharda University aims to change the lives of Greater Noida residents. Be it students, apartment dwellers or farmers, Suno Sharda 90.8FM will have something for everyone.
On December 16, 2015, Suno Sharda 90.8 FM was officially launched by senior TV journalist and RJ Richa Anirudh. On this occasion, she said, “Community radio is very different from commercial radio and being free from the commercial pressures, it can play a major role in the larger welfare of people of Greater Noida.”
 
Other Facilities:
Laundry Services: Modern Laundry Services using automatic would class washing machines are available in Campus, by which students may get clean and hygienic washing of their clothes

Security:
Entire campus including Hostels, Residential areas, Parking and the Academic areas are secured 24x7 hours through outsourced security agencies with armed guards. C.C.T.V. cameras have been installed at strategic places to keep a close vigil on the movement of all types of elements in the campus. The entire campus is monitored with 100 CCTV cameras.
Placements
The Placements, both for final jobs and Summer Internships is an integral part of any University’s annual calendar of activities. Sharda University has a well laid-out systematic process of meeting students career aspirations and corporates expectations. The Placement department function as a bridge between the University’s Schools , Industries and Students. The Placement activities are for the students and by the students. The process is transparent and commences with the uploading students profiles on placement portal. Each students , faculty coordinators and Training and Placement officials have excess to the portal.
 
The leading companies from all sectors are invited by the Placement Department on the campus, where the eligible students are facilitated to go through the entire selection process. The entire process is governed by the student's ability and performance, as well as the requirements and norms of the Industry.
