Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College

Mahavir Education Trust was established in the year 1983 with the main purpose of promoting technical education. With the help of generous donations of two main donors viz., Shrimati Laxmiben Karamshibhai Shah Trust and Shah Lalji Velji Anchorwala, a polytechnic under the name of Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Polytechnic was started in the year 1983. The trust was lucky to have the inauguration of the Polytechnic done at the hands of Shri Vasantdada Patil, the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra State. Further, it was felt that University level education was also the need of the society. Hence Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College was started in 1985.

The Training and Placement department of the college is headed by Prof. V. C. Kotak and supported by a team of Placement co-ordinators comprising of faculty members and students. Beginning with the technical interaction and co-ordination with prime industries, the team arranges on campus interviews for the recruitment of our students to reputed companies. The training of students for placement interview is an integral part of the placement activity.
