Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) has been ranked as the 24th top college in India for Engineering in 2012 by India Today.
Library
The college has a fully computerised central library, which comprises of an ever growing collection of around 45,000 books and 3,500 bound volumes of both national and international journals, subscribed by the college over the years. The library has good collection of CBT (Computer Based Tutorials) and video lectures from NPTEL and these are made available users on Intranet. The library also has a developed collection of ME-Dissertations, submitted by post graduate students of this institution.
Placement
The college has a Placement Cell that is headed by a faculty member of the college. All activities pertaining to campus recruitment are managed by this cell. Companies are invited to the campus every year. The cell is also involved in training and counselling students. Personality development programmes are also conducted for the students. The cell facilitates industry institute interaction on particular occasions.
