Location Information and Campus Infrastructure
The University of SRM, Haryana is located in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Rai near Delhi. It is well served by road and rail links.
The campus is spread over 47.68 acres of lush green lawn environment located at Sonepat, Haryana with many topographical features all around. The location of the campus is apt and provides beautiful environment for innovation and creativity. The aroma of learning can be felt all over the campus. Students and teachers share an abyss of knowledge that makes the zone of compatibility and comfort. The Library, knowledge "Restaurant" of SRM University provides comprehensive access to books, journals, reports, surveys covering diverse disciplines.
Library Facility
The library connects us with the insight and knowledge, painfully extracted from nature, of the greatest minds that ever were, with the best teachers, drawn from the entire planet and from all our history, to instruct us without tiring, and to inspire us to make our own contribution to the collective knowledge of the human species. I think the health of our civilization, the depth of our awareness about the underpinnings of our culture and our concern for the future can all be tested by how well we support our libraries. A central library houses around 12,000 books, journals, magazines, interesting computerized online systems, audio-visual material and CD-ROMs. More recently, libraries are understood as extending beyond the physical walls of a building, by including material accessible by electronic means, and by providing the assistance of librarians in navigating and analyzing tremendous amounts of knowledge with a variety of digital tools. The Libraries are well stacked with text books, technical journals, and reference material for advanced research and development work.
Laboratory Facility
Computer Laboratory:
Information Technology plays a vital role in all spheres of studies and in the field of Technical and Management studies, so SRM has designed a well-equipped Central Computer Centre consisting advanced computers with latest specifications and 24×7 internet facilities.
 
Electrical Laboratory:
The Electrical and Electronics Laboratory are fully equipped with panel boards, machines & equipments along with all calibrating apparatus. The School has following fully equipped laboratories with the state-of-the-art equipments:
  • Digital Electronics & Analog Electronics Circuit
  • Electronic Circuit Simulation
  • Advanced Microprocessor and Microcontroller
  • VLSI Design
  • Optical Communication

Mechanical Laboratory & Engineering Workshop:
The Mechanical Engineering Lab is fully equipped with exclusively designed machines & equipments for SRM University. Well qualified and progressive faculty handles the practical aspects of the mechanical and other related branches of Engineering for conducting practical with skill. In order to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge to the Engineering students doing courses in various branches the workshop practical in first year is intended. The workshop imparts basic knowledge of various hand tools and their usage in different sections of manufacturing.
 
Physics Laboratory:
The Physics Lab with attached dark room has been provided with most modern equipments needed for not only conducting practical but also helpful for research and development work. The faculty of physics is always devoted for further advancement and continuous improvement of the lab not only for meeting the university requirement but also for undertaking advanced research study.
 
Chemistry Laboratory:
The Chemistry Lab tables provided with granite top fitted with all accessories, water and gas connection. All glass wares and chemicals are available for conducting the practical in the lab with all accuracy.
Sports Facility
SRM has good sports facility in the campus for outdoor and indoor sports, like football ground, badminton, basketball, tennis court, cricket pitch for net practice. Indoor games are also available in the hostel like chess, carom, and table-tennis. Each hostel is provided with a table tennis board at each floor. SRM have indoor game rooms which have games like table tennis, carom, chess, etc.
Placements and Training
Technical Aptitude Training:
A free book of materials and training will be provided for C/C++, Aptitude and Quiz Software is uploaded in all Labs and all Student’s Laptops for Self Assessment.
Maths Aptitude Training:
A free book of materials and training will be provided for Maths Aptitude and Soft Copies are uploaded in all Labs and all Student’s Laptops for Self Assessment.
Soft skill Training:
Soft skill Training will be provided for personality development, Self Motivation Program, Group Discussion & Self Confidence Building.
