Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA)

Established in 1938, the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts is Singapore’s pioneer arts education institution. Widely recognised in Southeast Asia, NAFA’s reputation is founded on its innovative curriculum and teaching approaches, as well as its diverse artistic creations. NAFA receives polytechnic-level funding from the Ministry of Education, Singapore and is the first comprehensive arts education institution to receive the coveted 4-year EduTrust certification awarded by the Committee for Private Education in 2011. NAFA was re-awarded this certification in 2015, for another 4 years.

Admission Criteria & Eligibility

  • The Central Board of Secondary Education Examinations (CBSE)
  • The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISCE)
  • Other certificates equivalent to GCE ‘O’ Level
  • Grade C6 at GCE ‘O’ Levels
  • TOEFL iBT 50
  • TOEFL 500
  • IELTS Band 5
  • SAT score of 480 (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing component)
