Loyola Academy Degree & P G College

Loyola Academy is located in Old Alwal in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It offers around 20 undergraduate courses. It was established in 1976 by Rev. Fr. T. Balaiah.  Managed and administered by the Jesuits of Andhra Jesuit Province, the college is affiliated to Osmania University. It became autonomous in 1992. It was awarded Grade ‘A’ by the National Accreditation Council. Admission into the academy is on the basis of a written test. Classes start in the month of July.

The college was ranked 45th among Arts colleges in India For the year 2016, 38th among Commerce colleges and 31st among Science colleges in India in the year 2012 by India Today Magazine. It has improved greatly from its previous year’s ranking of 42nd in Arts and 40th in Science.
