Jamshedpur Women’s College is located in an area of a sprawling 5.334 acres of land, the college comprises 5 blocks of buildings housing the faculties of Education, Science, Arts, Commerce, a Library, a couple of Hostels besides the playground and the parking space.
Placements Comments
Jamshedpur Women’s College was the first to set up a Placement Cell among the various undergraduate/post- graduate colleges in Jamshedpur. The cell was initially called career counseling and placement cell and was established in 2003. Initially, for the first few years, till the end of 2006, the main function of the cell was to provide career counseling to the students.

Facilities
Library:
The Perin Mehta Memorial library remains open on week days from 10.30 a.,. to 4.30 p.m. The college Library is automated with internet facility available to the students and the stsff at a minimum rate of RS. 10/per hour. There is a rich collection of national and international journals and books.
Travel Concession:
Student can avail railway travel concession to their home town/native place during vacation. Afor details they may contact the staff in the general section of the office. Education tours are promoted to enlighten the girls. It gives them exposure and Knowledge in their respective subjects
Hostel:
There are two hostel with facilities like TV, Internet, Newspaper, Magazine, Telephone indoor games etc. in the college campus . Accommodation fot 50 students is available in Mahadevi verama hostel and for 100 students in the C.V Raman hostel . Mobile phones are not allowed in the hostel & violation of the rule will result in strict disciplinary action.
