GLA University

In the year 1991 Shri Narayan Das Agrawal decided to fulfil the dream of his father, Late Shri Ganeshi Lal Agrawal and initiated the Sri Jagannath Prasad Ganeshi Lal Bajaj Charitable Trust Samiti in an attempt to make the holy city of Mathura a recognized destination for knowledge seekers from different walks of life. This is what led to the foundation of a milestone at the karmabhoomi of the versatile and sagacious Lord Krishna. GLA has been actively involved with social causes since its very inception and has drawn appreciation from one and all for its work in various facets of societal paradigmsGLA University was started with the establishment of GLA Institute of Technology & Management offering B.Tech and MCA programs, in the year 1998 by the current Chancellor Shri Narayan Das Agrawal.In the year 1999, MBA program was introduced with 60 seats. It was in 2006 when GLA group of institutions came into existence with establishment of three new institutions, namely GLA Institute of Management, GLA institute of Professional Studies, and GLA institute of Pharmaceutical Research. New courses like BBA, BCA, B.Sc. Biotech, B. Pharma were introduces under these institutions. The GLA University, Mathura is managed by GLA Group of Institutions that later, in 2010, grew to become the GLA University through the U.P. State Legislative Act of 2009 (UP Act 21 of 2010) approved by the AICTE recognized by University Grants Commission(UGC), NCTE and Pharmacy Council of India.

Scholarships
Government Scholarships:

For General & OBC candidates (Economically weak)

Those students whose parents’ annual income is less then Rs 2 lakh are eligible to avail scholarship through social welfare department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) of UP Govt.
For SC/ST candidates
Those students whose parents’ annual income is less then Rs 2 lakh are eligible to avail scholarship through social welfare department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) of UP Govt.

University/College Scholarships : B.Tech Students

A) Meritorious Scholarship: A scholarship of worth Rs. 33,000/- per annum for the candidates possessing more than 90% and Rs. 25,000/- per annum for the candidates have secured 80-89.99% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at 10+2 level as per eligibility requirement.
B) On the basis of JEE-MAINS score# : Candidates eligible for scholarship on the basis JEE-MAINS Score as mention below:

Note: The student has to maintain a minimum CPI of 8.25 to avail the scholarship in the next year of his/her studies.
B Pharma Students
A scholarship worth Rs. 25,000/- per annum for the candidates possessing more than 90% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology at 10+2 as per eligibility requirement.
Note: The student has to maintain a minimum CPI of 8.25 to avail the scholarship in the next year of his/her studies.
Other Information

Mess Fee Rs. 30,000/- per annum (as advance, mess run on actual expenses basis)
Other Fee (Application Fee, Registration Fee, Examination Fee, Security Deposit) Caution Money - Rs. 5,000/-for Diploma in Engineering/D.Pharm. /B.Ed. and Rs. 10,000/- for all other courses in the first year of the course is to be paid additional (refundable on the successful completion of course).
A. Examination Charges : Rs. 6000 /- per annum.
B. Alumni Association fees : Rs. 1000 /- will be charged in 1st year Only.
C. Option to deposit fee in two parts with Rs. 1500 /- extra per semester.
D. Fees of above mentioned courses is subject to change.
