Drona’s College of Management & Technical Education (DCMTE), Dehradun located in a peaceful location near Sahastradhara the famous picnic spot of Dehradun, nestled in a huge area (more than 10 Acres), offers the best education in the field of Management, Science & Technology and Teaching Management. The college is running under the aegis of Drona’s International School Society, which is registered under the Society Registration Act 1860. The college is Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD-Govt of India , Affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (for B. Tech Courses) and Affiliated to B++ accredited H.N.B. Garhwal Central University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand for other courses & is duly approved by the Uttarakhand Government. The course contents, taught are approved by B.O.S. (Board of Studies) and academic council of the University.

DCMTE campus is located in a peaceful location near Sahastradhara, the famous Picnic spot of Dehradun City. The climate of Doon Valley is salubrious with cool weather throughout the year. The campus provides an ideal setting for learning & academic pursuit. The campus is in sprawling 10 Acres of land with thick lush green forest & mountains at its backdrop, which is situated at Sahastradhara Road area at a distance of 8 kms from Dehradun.
 
DCMTE residing in a 10 Acres campus, has carved out for itself a big name & is recognised as a premier educational institute of India. It abounds in well equipped & sophisticated laboratories, well stocked libraries to enhance & facilitate the entire teaching and learning process in tune with the noble ambition & aspiration of Mr. Naveen Bist to keep the institution ever growing & developing continuously so as to become as big as the ocean.
Placements Comments
The college has a separate Training and Placement Cell, under Training and Placement Officer. The cell also comprises of a group of students of final year. The cell also acts as a coordinator for the Industrial Training and Placement of pre-final and final year students. This cell will arrange Industrial Training programme of about 30 days for the pre-final year students immediately after the completion of their 6th semester examination. One of the primary concerns of this office is to assist students in classifying careers objectives & identifying employment opportunities. Office maintains the list of jobs, vacancies & organizes seminar on personality development programmes(PDP), on writing CV, identifying vacancies & attending interviews. The campus has full time placement officer operating under the supervision of management, who arranges campus interviews to help Drona’s students in obtaining lucrative jobs.
Placement Company
Under the guidance of Dr. B.C. Jha (Director, Drona’s) with 28+years of experience the placement cell is working hard and has made tie-ups with Renowed MNC’s for the placement of B.Tech and Other UG Course students, till date the following UG courses students are being placed by the efforts and guidance of placement cell, and efforts are still on to place the B.Tech students when they will reach in their pre final year.

The Training and Placement Cell also guides and helps the final year students in securing jobs commensurate with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement. The cell extends all possible help and provides all available infrastructure facilities to the organisations and their respective officials conducting campus interviews in the college campus. Facilities
The objectives of DCMTE has always been to be in the forefront of utilization of IT and leverage its power in making learning informative & entertaining. The state-of-the art technology in our computer centre comprises the following:
More than 200 Core 2 Duo terminals working in network environment with high speed Internet. To facilitate hard copy printing, network printers like Dot Matrix and laser printers are installed.
For software purpose the Institution has entered in academic alliance with Microsoft to use all their software products.
 
Since it has been proved that the whole world is becoming a global village and no part of the world is now left unearthed, in this era of globalization stabilize link, play an important role. Realising the need for the internet, DCMTE has uninterrupted WIFI connectivity in the campus at the constant speed of 2 mbps round the clock.
 
The state-of-the-art laboratories in DCMTE facilitate the training and teaching of student in various streams. The labs cater to the needs of the students studying in respective departments. Our laboratories comply with the International standards which help the students to be well conversant with the various instruments. By handling the most sophisticated equipment, the students build up a high confidence level, which benefits them in the long run.
 
he institute has fully developed labs in the field of Electronics & Communication.
 
The high roof workshop consists of shops in the field fitting, carpentry, machine, smithy, forging, welding, Tin-smithy, foundry and pattern making.
 
The nerve center of any educational institute is its library where the books/ journals that the institution makes available to its students are stored. The institute has upto date central library with more than 6000 books & 1250+ titles, approx 60 journals and periodicals. The sitting capacity is about 125. DCMTE central library has a number of technical books, periodicals, video films, magazines and other national & international publication.
