Facilities
D.Y.P.C.E.T. has excellent hostel facilities for boys. Students of the institute are accommodated in the hostel at reasonable costs. Initially, the boy’s hostel had two separate buildings. These two were merged to form one large hostel. It includes sixty well furnished rooms along with a common hall to facilitate students from the hostel to organise different extracurricular activities. The accommodation capacity of the hostel is 110.
Library
The spacious library of the college has a collection of over 32100 books (text books and reference books) with the most recent inventory standing at 10482 titles, 143 technical journals and magazines. It also provides access to more than 500 online technical and research journals through INDEST AICTE Consortium (Springer link & IEEE online journals). The library has a membership with INDEST AICTE and DELNET, New Delhi for inter library loans, reference facilities and document delivery services. It issues over 40 book sets under the book bank scheme to SC/ST students (free sets) every year and provides study room facility during normal and extended hours.
Placements Comments
Students from this college get placed in different companies like Mindtree Ltd, KPIT, etc. The college has a placement cell that is headed by a faculty member of the college. All activities pertaining to campus recruitment are managed by this cell. Companies are invited to the campus every year. The cell is also involved in training and counselling students. Personality development programmes are also conducted for the students. The cell facilitates industry institute interaction on particular occasions.
