City College Birmingham

City College, Birmingham was established in 1998 by the union of East Birmingham College and Handsworth Colleges. It offers more than 1000 courses to students who are between 16-18 years of age that can lead to qualifications such as GCSEs, A Levels, GNVQ and AVCE, NVQ and BTEC. It also offers them several Apprenticeships programs. Adult learners are also offered a variety of program in flexible and convenient schedules. Full, part time or short course are available to them in variety. They are offered several Access to Higher Education programs, A Levels, as well as several programs in business, hospitality and catering. It also offers several pre GCSE and GCSE courses too. Programs that can earn students HND, HNC, BTEC are offered too.City College Birmingham offers a variety of programs for international students. The institution also offers an impressive range of programs to businesses to help develop their workforce and train them to get optimal performance. The programs can also be customized to meet the individual goals and needs of the organization.City College Birmingham offers student services such as Career Advice and Guidance, Welfare, Childcare, and services to those with disability. Students are also appointed personal tutors and offered financial support such as Learner Support Fund, Adult Learning Grant, Lone Parent Option, Adult Learning Options, and Care to Learn Fund, HE Access to Learning Fund, EMA, and European Social Fund. Many of the programs are available free of charge for deserving students.
