Charles Sturt University

Charles Sturt University (CSU) is an Australian multi-campus university located in New South Wales, Victoria, and the Australian Capital Territory. It has campuses at Bathurst, Canberra, Albury-Wodonga, Dubbo, Goulburn, Orange, Wagga Wagga and Burlington, Ontario (Canada). CSU is well known for its extensive range of distance education courses, which are online supported. Charles Sturt University's graduates with the highest public profile tend to come from the degree courses in communication and media offered on the Bathurst campus. It also specialises in the areas of pharmacy, visual and performing arts, viticulture, agriculture, dentistry, veterinary science, nursing, radiography, teaching, theology, accountancy and library and information studies. Admission Criteria & Eligibility

To gain admission:
  • The average score to be obtained by a CBSE or an ICSE student is 70% in best 4 academic subjects including English. IB students should have minimum 26 from a total of 45
  • An international student is also required to take IELTS and obtain an average score of 6.0, and with no score below 5.5, or TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) paper-based and obtain an average score of 550 and TWE of 5.0. If the TOEFL internet-based test is taken by the candidate, a score of 80 with a writing score of 25 is required
  • There are three intakes per year: February, July and November. It is advisable to submit the application at least 2 months before the semester starts
