Audiology and Speech Language Pathology at Medical College, Pune (BVDU)

The School of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology is located in Bharati Vidyapeeth's sprawling campus, at Dhankawadi-Katraj on the Pune-Bangalore highway in the city of Pune. The college was established in 2006 and is affiliated to Bharati Vidyapeeth University.  It offers an undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP). Admission to this course is through the CET entrance exam. Classes commence from July onwards.

Infrastructure
The infrastructural facilities of the college include Speech and Audiology labs that have centralised air conditioning. It has spacious speech therapy rooms, well furnished class rooms, a seminar hall, administrative units, and faculty cubicles.

Amenities such as hostels, play fields, gardens, canteen, banking and postal services, hospital, and vehicle parking, etc. have been provided and are properly maintained.
Library
The students have access to a large well-stocked centralised medical college digital library. This library has over 15 journals pertaining to the field of speech and hearing as well as a number of books on allied subjects. In addition, there is a library in the college that has a large number of books and journals which are more frequently used by the students and staff.
Sports & Cultural Events
The students of the college participate in the annual sports and cultural events organised by the college. This includes sports events like badminton, chess, carrom-board, cricket and cultural events like rangoli and mehndi. In addition, the students also participate in the annual inter-collegiate sports and cultural events.
