Arawali Veterinary College

The birth of the Arawali College of Veterinary Sikar in  2003 has opened a new chapter in the history of privatization of Veterinary education in the Country. It is the frist private veterinary college in the state of Rajasthan and the entire country under the Public Private  (PP) model. The college started as an American dream with two NRI veterinary doctors Dr. Pawan kumar. Their dream came to a reality when their guru and mentor Dr. Dr. J. S. Arya joined handswith them. It has become possible due to the culmination of joint and concerted efforts on the part of these veterinarians which is a collective labor of love for their chosen profession. This group of people cohesively worked together in sharing their knowledge, skills and expertise, to shape AVC a leader in the veterinary educational sector. This first private veterinary college which is conceived by the veterinarians and managed by the veterinarians for the future veterinarians is poised to lead the whole veterinary profession. One of the unique strengths of this college is their blend of national faculty members - both senior experienced retired academicians and clinicians from national centers of excellence like ICAR,IVRI and other national institutions who can share and help the younger junior veterinarians to accomplish their mission.
