Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences

Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences, also known as ANITS, was established in 2001 and is located in Vishakapatam, Andhra Pradesh. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technology Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Andhra University (AU). It was also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in the year 2008. There are approximately 2000 students studying in the college.

It offers around 8 courses at the undergraduate level. Admission to these courses is based on the scores of the EAMCET entrance exam. This exam is conducted in the month of May. Results are declared in the month of June and classes commence from August onwards.

Campus

Library
The central library of the college presently covers a total user area of 6000 sq. ft., with a seating capacity of 150 in two floors. The circulation section, journals, news papers & magazines and digital library are on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor has reference books, project reports, previous question papers and reprography services.
Hostel
The college has two hostels - one for boys with a capacity of 92 and the other one for girls with a capacity of 72. It has excellent facilities including:
     •    A resident warden for each hostel

     •    Hygienically cooked and served food – both vegetarian and non-vegetarian
     •    Backup power supply through a generator in case of power failure
