Acharya Institute of Technology

Acharya Institute of Technology or AIT is a privately owned self financed technological institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgaum.  The institute is located in Bangalore, Karanataka.  It was established in 2000 by Premnath Reddy.  The institute offers around 23 undergraduate courses and has around 5,400 students.  The institute also offers students around 50 trusts based and non-college scholarships.  It was granted the ‘Technical Campus’ status by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in 2012.  Admission to the college is subject to the marks scored in KCET or COMEDK-UGT. The institute admits 50% students through KCET, 30% through COMEDK-UGT and 20% through management quota without any merit requirements.

Infrastructure
The institute is set amidst a beautiful 120 acre campus, which is covered in a lush green blanket, right on the outskirts of Bangalore city. The institute is extremely well planned with structures surrounded by dockets of greenery. The campus houses beautiful gardens, flower beds, fruit and flowers.  The water ponds and fountains are the stars of this aesthetic campus and have garnered appreciation from both students and perceptive outsiders.
Placement
Our Placement Cell monitors the employment opportunities and arranges campus recruitment process interviews for the final year students and provides internship opportunities for pre-final year students. We start placement process for pre-final semester in the month of June. Students are prepared for all kind of interviews well in advance.
