There is no passion to be found playing small in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.- Nelson Mandela
Founder & CEO, Univariety
It all started with the Founder, Jaideep Gupta’s personal experience of moving from the United States to India. While there was a stark change in the education system, there was also a scarcity of guidance resources. Career guidance or professional counselling was never an option or even a thought back in the day. There were only three to four career options available or even known to people.
Jaideep’s vision to become the first-hand provider of career guidance solutions for school children gave birth to Univariety in 2015. Starting with career guidance programs for a couple of schools, Univariety gradually partnered with 100+ schools within a year.
Today, Univariety stands as India's leading career guidance and alumni management platform for progressive schools to develop their own assets to set up a world-class career and college guidance system.
We help students make well-informed and better-suited career choices that help them achieve their potential. Univariety’s system also provides college admission guidance to students and facilitates alumni engagement for schools.
Univariety has served over 350+ schools in the country, such as Oakridge International Schools, Ryan International Schools, Podar International Schools, Assam Valley School, Hyderabad Public School, Christ Junior College, Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, TIPS, and more.

Univariety is a blended career guidance platform for students. Headquartered in Hyderabad, India, we are an enterprising team of 100+ across India driven by one single mission: Make Career Guidance Mainstream in Educational Institutions.
Univariety's unique guidance platform offers educational institutions an unparalleled service experience in the form of a comprehensive career and college guidance solution for students, counsellors, parents and school/university management.
Is Math optional for your students? How about English? No…? Then why Career Guidance?
At Univariety, we do not look at career guidance as an optional activity which then becomes a last-minute stress-inducing decision. We look at career guidance as a journey that a student needs to make from middle school — starting with a psychometric test, and followed by timely guidance from parents, teachers, counsellors, alumni and the school management itself.
Career Guidance is an integral part of mainstream education. We believe that every progressive school in the country must strive to provide a comprehensive guidance experience to all its students.
In 2015, a small group of people in varied careers asked themselves, “Why do we do what we do?” Was it interest, ability, peer pressure, family, or just their marksheets that had dictated what they had decided to call a career? For most, it was little to do with interest and more to do with everything else.
That question changed everything. Perhaps it was too late for them to go back in time, but they saw an opportunity to ensure that succeeding generations had a convincing answer to the question, “Why do we do what we do?”
Univariety was born to help students be better equipped to make informed career choices. Because proper career planning matters more than anything else. Students that are self-assured and have ample guidance are better equipped to make choices that are aligned to their personality, interest and ability. This ensures lesser stress and a better future.
