Scholarship Details

The scholarship is applicable to students from Brunei Darussalam, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, East Timor, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh for studies at United States of America. Scholarships of up to $1000 are awarded to the students.

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

Students can apply irrespective of their gender.
  • Students should be at least 17 years of age or older and be accepted to or attend a full-time finance, economics, or investment programme at an accredited institution of learning
  • Students should be attending the programme within an accredited institution within the United States
  • Students should be either a citizen of the United States or a foreign student with a valid United States Student Visa
  • Students should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, based on the previous year’s academic performance.

Application

Application Process

  • Students shall submit all contact information as contained within the application, including name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, and sex
  • Students should be prepared to submit proof of age should they be chosen as the winner and recipient of the scholarship
  • The student shall be prepared to submit proof of enrolment or acceptance to an accredited institution of learning should he or she be chosen as the winner and recipient of the scholarship
  • Students should submit an essay of at least 500 words, but no more than 1000 words, explaining what they hope to accomplish in the field of finance, economics, or investment and how they will impact the lives of others with the education and knowledge they acquire while in school
  • This essay will also include the students’ opinion on why they feel they should be selected to receive the scholarship funds.

Additional Information

Qualified students are needed to submit an essay of 500-1000 words which describes what they hope to accomplish during their career in finance, economics, or investment fields.
