About the Scholarship

The trust aims to provide financial aid to needy, meritorious students for their education. 'Education' has a wide coverage right from school level to vocational training. We also provide a certain amount for research degrees and projects.
At present merit-cum-need based scholarships are being given regularly to students of
1. Labu Ram Doaba Sr. Secondary School, Jalandhar, Punjab
2. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi through The AIIMSONIANS (Old Students Association of AIIMS www.aiimsonians.org)
A request for financial support led to the Trust supporting a student of
1. Vardhaman Mahaver Medical College (VMMC) & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi

Scholarship Details

The scholarship awards an amount of Rs. 10,000/- annually. It is offered irrespective of the nationality of the student.  Only undergraduate students from AIIMS can apply for the scholarship. The scholarship amount is disbursed during the Annual Dinner of the AIIMS students, which is held every year on 1st October.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant should be a student from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)
  • He/she should be pursuing an undergraduate course
  • As the selection is based on both merit and need, the applicant should have a good academic record.

Application

Application Process

Students have to submit the application form in the prescribed format available from the AIIMSONIANS office or which can download from the website. They should enclose a passport size photograph with the application. The last date for submitting applications is 16 August. The process of selection is completed within 15 days of the last date of submission of applications.
