Career Counseling is a process that will help you to know and understand yourself and the world of work in order to make career, educational and life decisions. We conduct several activities throughout the year.

An informative University workshop was conducted by BML Munjal University for students of Grade XI & XII. The session talked about Law as a Career.

Career Colloquium

The Career Colloquium was an informative event to learn more about the colleges the students’ are interested in and talk to the people with the first-hand experience. The students discover new colleges that were not on their radar, are able to narrow down their shortlist, find out more about scholarships, save money to visit each campus, etc.

Student Journey - Grade X & XI

Portal Walkthrough and System Deep Dive session was conducted. The session infused curiosity in students by talking about specific careers, and how to read more about them. It also revolved around searching for specific colleges, reading about their admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and scholarships. The students were introduced to My Journey for keeping up with their Milestone progress. In brief, the students got to know, how and where to find what.

The parents were shown the portal and it's usage benefits. The parents were keen to use the portal and were encouraged to explore it along with their children.

The Counselor Helpdesk was set up at the School PTM by Univariety. The school had already spread awareness about the Univariety Portal through different mediums. The session saw a good number of parents with Career related and Portal related queries from Grades X, XI, and XII. The parents were shown the portal and it's usage benefits. The parents seemed excited about the idea of 24x7 availability of Counselors. They were keen to use it and were encouraged to explore it along with their children.

The session was held to make the Senior School Staff aware of the school’s initiative for Career Counseling. The session showed them the Counselor’s Dashboard, Student Portal and Student Journey. It focused on making them encourage students to opt for Unconventional courses.

Univariety Orientation was conducted for the students and Parents of Grade XI on May 24, 2019. The session talked about the ‘Importance of Planning’ for a great career and how Univariety portal supports students and parents in their career planning journey. It further spoke about the focus areas for a Grade XI student; about the importance of Aptitude, Interest, Potential & Strength while finalizing specific career goals for oneself.

Profile Completion & Psychometric Assessments

The profile completion activity was facilitated in the School Computer Lab. The students of Grade XI completed their Profiles by recording the initial Country & Course Choice. Followed by which the students took a Multiple Intelligence Assessment. The detailed report of the assessment helped them identify their emotional and nine other types of Intelligences.

Univariety Introduction to Parents: New Academic Year Orientation KPS

The Parents were introduced to the Univariety Portal. The session talked about ‘Importance of Career Counseling’ and ‘How to plan for a great career’. It spoke about new emerging careers; conventional and unconventional courses. We further discussed how Univariety Portal supports students in finding the best fit careers and apply to the colleges of their choice, consult their School Seniors- Alumni Guidance and the expert Counsellor advice.

Profile Completion & Psychometric Assessments
