Which is why we strongly believe in providing guidance to students from multiple perspectives viz Research Tools, Counselors, School Alumni and University Connects. In collaboration with Univariety, All Saints College offers students a digital platform which not only helps them draft out a career plan, but also helps them in finding the right career for them, based on their skills, interests and abilities. Activities in the school include university visits, counselling sessions, career workshops and many more, which focus on giving students the needed exposure and clarity on matters related to their choice of careers and streams.
Parents of Grade 9th-12th students were invited for an interactive session with Univariety experts. The Group Orientation session began with the discussion about the Conventional vs. Unconventional Career Choices that students are making nowadays. It then focused on how Career Counseling supports the student in mapping their skills & aptitude, make appropriate subject & stream choices and also help them identify the emerging careers matching their ability & interest. Further, it discussed about the various tools with which Univariety supports the student in their Career Journey. A detailed demo of the working of the portal was given to the parents, emphasizing on their role as a parent in the child’s journey.

Students of Grade IX were then guided by the Univariety experts to record their Initial Choices by completing an Online Profile form. The profile captures the student’s preferences around Country & Course, their strong and week subjects along with the scores secured and expected at the end of the year. It also helps student to put in their Accolades and achievements in various Sports & Extra Curricular activities. Students then took a Learning style Assessment which helps them analyze their learning preferences for immediate environment, emotional, sociological needs and physical needs.

Students differ in their career choices, therefore some would like to do a conventional course while others prefer the unconventional; witness the nature & variety of our student interests- System Deep Dive sessions were conducted for students of grade XII in the school computer lab and students were guided about the various tools, such as Ideal College List, Entrance Exams, Mock Tests and Webinars, that are available on the portal to help them narrow their choices. A complete walk-through of the system was given based on their choice of preferred Country and Course. Students then took the Ideal Career Assessment to know the top 3 choices suggested by a scientifically prepared psychometric test. They were encouraged to connect with online counselors to discuss their assessment report and get clarity on courses that they could pursue linking to the suggested careers.
