Workshops by universities, counselling sessions, career workshops and many such activities conducted in the school ensure that the student gets enough exposure from various avenues and receive clarity on his queries regarding choices of streams and careers.
For all students, scholarships in most cases end up being hidden treasures. But they are oblivious of the fact how close they are to getting one. Ambiguity around scholarship information and application make it more mysterious. To break the myth, students are invited to attend this session so that they understand it more and can be better informed to win one too. This session also talks about how a student can make an effective plan to apply and win scholarships – be it in India or abroad. The student will also get introduced to various popular scholarships which are most viable in the high education market.

On 15th July 2019, Univariety conducted a Pro-Parenting Workshop for the parents and the students. The main agenda was to help parents & students: ? Understand what India & the world’s TOP colleges REALLY look for at the time of Admissions ? Give them exposure to top Indian & Global Non-Academic Programs ? Create a personalized sample roadmap for their child with our experts The facilitator, Ms. Sangeetha George spoke about how Promap is basically focused and achievement-oriented Profile Building. This will help in the following ways: 1. College Admissions: All colleges, all courses abroad look at the non-academic profile of the child from middle school onwards. In India: Non-Engineering and Non-Medicine aspirants need profile building to improve their conversations at the PI, group discussion stage. 2. Overall exposure and perspective building. Especially in the 8th and 9th, doing these activities helps you in exploring your interests and make informed decisions in stream selection, etc. 3. If you are looking at scholarships especially, you need to make sure that you have a strong profile. And general activities like dance, etc are hobbies, we are talking about co-curricular courses like advanced courses from Stanford Open school, etc. It was an interactive session for both parents & students. There were a few students & parents who stayed back post the session to discuss their personal queries with the facilitator & the counselors.
