Career Guidance Initiatives

Career Counseling is a process that will help you to know and understand yourself and the world of work in order to make career, educational and life decisions. We conduct several activities throughout the year.

Career Sessions

Choices of Streams and Careers

Students generally are in a dilemma concerning the co-relations between subjects and careers. Many students believe that what they’re studying doesn’t necessarily have something to do with the career that they have picked. We want to help students realise that this is in fact, not the case. The session would be for about an hour and conducted for students of class 9 & 10. During this session, students would understand what streams they can consider selecting after they complete their class 10. This session would also give them an insight into the kind of subject combination required and the careers that they can consider pursuing with the chosen subjects in class 11 & 12. The presentation will cover streams in sciences, commerce and Humanities. In addition, it also guides students on the different tools that they can use to assess their aptitude and interests and based on that can take a well informed decision about future career prospects.

SOP LOR

The Career Day on "Marketing through SOP, Essays and LORs" is a slideshow session conducted by a proficient facilitator at school. This session is essentially targetted for students of Grade 11 and majory for Grade 12 who are planning to apply to multiple countries like USA, UK, Singapore, Canada and India. It talks about the overall meaning and what is expected from them to write. Talks about how to organize their writing well according to rules that work. Helpful tips. Writing styles that work and that does'nt with samples.

Oxford Royale Academy

Indian School of Design & Innovation (ISDI) helps young minds discover their creativity and imagination through a unique program that combines engaging exercises and collaborative projects. The ISDI Summer School is a Pre-College Academy that offers courses for students who desire to pursue a career in the field of Design. O.P. Jindal Global University, NCR hosts a Summer Program for high school students who are inclined towards various fields of courses like, Law, Business, International Affairs, Government, Arts, Media, Architecture, Banking and Finance and more. Jindal Global University, hosts the Jindal Global Summer School (JGSS) that provides students with a globally oriented academic engagement designed to prepare them for the critical transition to higher education, which can help build satisfying careers and meaningful lives.

Newcastle University Workshop

Dr Kianoush Nazarpour, a Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering from Newcastle University visited our campus & engaged with senior school students. He shared his research on limb prosthesis control & interacted with the students and helped them with suggestions to enhance their gadgets and advised on some improvements as well. Dr Nazarpour was particularly impressed with two of the prosthetic models that students of class 8 & 10 had created - a remote controlled robotic arm & a sensor driven blind man's stick to help the blind.

Career Counselling

Career Counselling Session

The Univariety Counselling session creates for a student a transparent and personalised environment where student can freely express their career concerns and questions with the counselors. This judicious process enables students to achieve clarity about their career goals and the 7 milestone imperative for college success. The introductory session aims at facilitating students towards helping them decide about the first step in their career journey namely: which course and country of study they are inclined towards. This later leads towards guiding them to understanding their aptitude, interest and personality and aligning them with careers suitable for them.
