Career Workshop - Choices on Streams and Careers for Grade 10th

As a part of the Career Guidance journey, a workshop was conducted at the School for Class 10th students on the different Streams and different Subject Combinations which the students can take after completing their 10th Grade.Choosing the right Stream with the correct set of Subject Combination- Is the first step towards achieving one's Dream - Isn't It ??? The session was very interactive. Lot of questions were asked by the students regarding the different career options apart from the traditional ones !!!

International University Workshop

Its Time to feel Special ! Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, a University from USA, visited our school on the 23rd August 2016. Mr Greg Fiedman- Associate Director of International Admissions at MCPHS, spoke to our students of Grade 11th and 12th regarding the different career and courses options in the field of Medicine and Healthcare. He also spoke regarding the admission requirements and how the students could go about in pursuing their career in the field of Healthcare.

Counselling Session

The High school students of Global Indian International School - Pune and parents attended their Second counselling session with the Univariety Counsellor. A one on one approach to counselling students is very effective as students in a group might not feel comfortable in expressing their concerns. In this session students were able to get clarity on many of their concerns and decided on their country and college preferences with regards to college admission.

How to Make your Resume Strong ???

Student today at are looking forward to Navigate into a Globalized and Complex world. Academics and Entrance Exams are a part of admission process, however it is important for every student to hold a strong Resume as well. A session was conducted by Univariety for Class 10th, 11th and 12th students to make them aware about the importance on Profile building. Extra Curricular plays a very important role in the admission process. These can be classifies as "SKILL" based "LEARNING" Based and "EXPERIENCE" Based. Concepts such as 21st Century Skills , Driving Creativity through Mathematics, ACCA and CIMA were discussed.

Orientation and Profile Creation

This was a Jump start to the Career Guidance process at the School. A session was conducted for students of Class 10th, 11th and 12th to give them an idea on how Univariety Team will be helping them and different tools available on the Univariety Website. A detailed information was given to the students on the 26+ tools that are available for the students which will help them with their College Planning Process. Also, profile creation were done for students.

Counselling Session for Grade 10th, 11th

The journey starts! The students got to experience an introductory session with the Univariety counselor on an Open Day Counseling right here at school. The students who identified their needs came up to the counselor and seeked guidance. An initial ice-breaker discussion, accompanied with some critical decision making points about choice of Country and Course which coincides with Milestone 1 and 2 of their Career Roadmap were discussed as a take away for the sessions. Students and parents are encouraged to attend these sessions to make the best of the counselor's guidance and support system which the school has intiated.
