University visits, Counselling sessions, Career workshops, all of these and more for students to get exposure and clarity, with regards to their college placements and career ambitions. Activities conducted by experts in their particular fields, helps students bridge the gap between having knowledge on those careers and how to practically make informed career choices.

System Deep Dive

Portal Walkthrough and System Deep Dive session was conducted for Grade X and Grade XII separately. The session infused curiosity in students by talking about specific careers, and how to read more about them. It also revolved around searching for specific colleges, reading about their admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and scholarships on the Univariety Portal. The students were introduced to My Journey for keeping up with their Milestone progress. In brief, the students got to know, how and where to find what.

Profile Completion & Psychometric Assessments

The profile completion activity was facilitated in the School Computer Lab. The students of Grade XII completed their Profiles by recording the initial Country & Course Choice and shortlist colleges. Followed by which the students took an Ideal Career Assessment, and the detailed assessment report helped them identify their best-suited careers.

Student Orientation

Univariety Orientation was conducted for students of Grade VIII. The session talked about the ‘Importance of Planning’ for a great career and how the Univariety portal supports students in their career planning journey. It further spoke about the focus areas for Grade VIII; about the importance of Aptitude, Interest, Potential & Strength while finalizing specific career goals for oneself.

Profile Completion & Psychometric Assessments

Students of Grade VIII completed their profiles by logging in to the Univariety portal and recording their strongest and weakest subjects, which can later be the base for their career selections. Following which the students were explained My Journey tab, which is a roadmap for the students of timed activities. And then, they gave a Learning Style Assessment and sent their reports to the Uniuvariety Counselor.

Profile Completion +College Shortlisting

Profile creation -Jumpstart your career guidance process now! Start by choosing your course and country preference and you will be all set to go!The first step of the process is creating a student’s profile to help keep a track of student activities on the portal. Students across grade VIII- XII recorded their initial preferences by completing their profile and grade XII shortlisted their choice of colleges.

Parent Orientation

Parent Orientation session was conducted at school for parents of grades VIII to XII to encourage Parent & School collaboration in the student's Career Journey. The session talked about 'How Univariety shall equip the students in planning their Career Journey' in a more systematic way and to showcase on different tools available on the Univariety Website to support them in their journey.

Student Orientation & Launch

Student Orientation: Good marks alone are not makers for Career Success today. High school students need to go that extra step in order to stand out and be successful today. At Univariety the Guidance Counselor provide that extra support for an optimal college planning process. The Orientation by Univariety looked at helping students understand the definitive steps needed to be college ready.So starting early helps the students leverage and optimize all opportunities that come their way. To clarify this further, the school organised a session with Students of grade VIII to XII to make them an active part of the career guidance process.

Indian School of Design & Innovation (ISDI) helps young minds discover their creativity and imagination through a unique program that combines engaging exercises and collaborative projects. The ISDI Summer School is a Pre-College Academy that offers courses for students who desire to pursue a career in the field of Design. Located in Mumbai, ISDI’s summer program stimulates the students’ capacity to think out of the box and challenges them to find tangible solutions to problems. The program is designed to help students find where their interests and skills lie and make better academic and career choices. On successful completion of the course, all students receive certification from Parsons School of Design, New York.
