Students generally are in a dilemma concerning the co-relations between subjects and careers. Many students believe that what they’re studying doesn’t necessarily have something to do with the career that they have picked. We want to help students realize that this is in fact, not the case. The session would be for about an hour and conducted for students of class 9 & 10. During this session, students would understand what streams they can consider selecting after they complete their class 10. This session would also give them an insight into the kind of subject combination required and the careers that they can consider pursuing the chosen subjects in class 11 & 12. The presentation will cover streams in Sciences, Commerce, and Humanities. In addition, it also guides students on the different tools that they can use to assess their aptitude and interests and based on that can take a well-informed decision about future career prospects.

Informed Decision is synonymous to Correct Decision. Laying hands on the right information for a correct career choice starts early. There are myriad of wrong impressions of career options that our students are prone to. Talking to them about the importance of research and what constitutes the right kind of career exploration, early on, just makes it easier for them to demarcate and move in the right direction. The session does not aim to inform the students about new career options but aims at making them understand the importance of the right kind of research and how should they do it.
