About me
Hailing from Kashipur, Uttarakhand, my name is Kamakshi Kapoor who’s a 17 year old girl with the ambition to succeed in whatever I pursue. I have always believed that intelligence is not the only criteria to succeed, hard work, consistency and sincerity towards your aim makes you achieve your goal which I believe I have. I am passionate about social service and community involvement, highlighted through an internship at GOONJ, New Delhi. Currently studying at the Gurukul, I am good in academics as well as extra-curricular activities. In addition to the above, an avid photographer with a keen interest in painting, reading, culinary arts and singing. I have learnt a lot from my mistakes and from my failures and never regarded it as a curse rather an opportunity to improve myself. Participating in The Indus Young Entrepreneur Competition has a played a significant role in making me come out of my comfort zone by culminating the competition when all my team members deserted me. At this stage of my life, there are miles to go and with every mile I hope to create a better version of myself.
