Preparation

Required Time: 6 months / 8 months

In order to be successful in the WBJEE, it is absolutely advisable to take up a coaching at the earliest like 7 - 8 months.
Some of the key tips to help the student prepare well are listed below:-
Save Time: While doing calculations in Mathematics use short methods and skip unimportant steps to save time. Students should spend their most of the time in practicing concepts and problem solving. While doing preparations never use calculators in order to increase speed and precision. Mental calculations help students increase their speed to a great extent.
Analyse Weak Parts: Analysing problem areas where one is taking too much time to solve a problem. Analyse the sections one can afford to use up time and also keep an eye on sections where one feels he/she is at his/her best. It is advisable to also pay close attention to the errors made, which makes it easier to correct later.
Practice Quality Questions: The more one practices, the more confidence one gains. Practicing quality questions more rather than practicing thousands of questions blindly definitely comes in handy.
