About Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University Medical Common Entrance Test
The questions of the test are in objective type test format. The test consists of two papers of 200 questions. The duration of the test is two hours for each paper. The test includes questions from the topics of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology from the higher secondary course curriculum. Those who clear the written test will be selected for the first year MBBS course. The first section includes questions from two papers of Physics and Chemistry and the second section includes questions from the subjects of Botany and Zoology.
The Test Centres are Puducherry, Puducherry, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
Applicant should have passed the H.Sc (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of higher secondary examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology, Physics and Chemistry and should have taken English as one of the subjects. Applicant should complete 17 years of age when applying. The maximum number of appearances (including the first appearance) permitted to pass the qualifying examination is two.

Application form and information booklet can be obtained from the college office at Puducherry/Chennai by cash or it can be obtained by post by sending along a request with a demand draft drawn in favour of ‘Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University’, payable at Puducherry. Application and information booklet can be downloaded from website. The filled application in such cases must be submitted with a demand draft.
