About NMIMS National test for Programs After Twelfth

NMIMS National test for Programs After Twelfth (UG) or NPAT (UG) is conducted for students interested to take admission into three years B.B.A , B.Com, B.Sc (Economics) and B.Sc (Finance) and for B.Tech programmes of NMIMS . The paper-pencil test consists of 150 questions across 3 sections and the time duration is 120 minutes. The Test is conducted in metro-cities of India. The test has negative marking 0.25 for every incorrect answer. It would be wise to leave questions un-attempted where:

  • You are not sure of the correct answer
  • Are caught between two equally tempting options or
  • You simply don't have enough time left to do justice to the remaining questions
NMIMS reserves the right to cancel any venue of examination for any reason and the applicant will have to take the test at any of the other venues available. NMIMS decision in this regard will be final.

Eligibility

For B.B.A , B.Sc (Economics) and B.Sc (Finance):
  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate awarded not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board at first attempt
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks with passing in mathematics/ statistics as compulsory subject
  • Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination including IB Diploma can also apply but their admission to the courses will be subject to above criterion, obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time
  • Those candidates who have passed, or, are appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination from a Board/University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the Board/University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA obtained
  • Candidates above 25 years of age are restricted to apply for undergraduate programs
For B.Com:
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate awarded not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board at first attempt
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for B.Com (Hons.) Program
  • Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination including IB Diploma can also apply but their admission to the courses will be subject to above criterion, obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time
  • Those candidates who have passed, or, are appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination from a Board/University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the Board/University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA obtained
  • Candidates above 25 years of age are restricted to apply for undergraduate programs
For B.Tech:
  • Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam including international IB  Diploma (IB certificate awarded is not eligible) with English as compulsory subject and With science or science vocational
  • Candidate must score minimum 50% marks in PCM for Mumbai campus & 45% marks in PCM for Shirpur campus
  • Candidate who are waiting for the 10+2 exam result
  • Candidates should present single mark sheet .Candidate passed with compartment is not eligible
  • Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply provided they should obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time
  • Candidate above 25 years of age are restricted to apply for undergraduate programs
