About KIIT Law School Admission Test

KLSAT is an entrance examination conducted by KIIT Law School for admission to its undergraduate law courses. The various undergraduate law courses offered by KIIT Law School are BA LLB, BBA LLB, BSc LLB. Admission to all these courses is fully through the entrance test conducted by KIIT Law School. KIIT Law School has a very good infrastructure and is approved by the Bar Council of India.

  • As per the KLSAT  exam pattern, there will be multiple choice questions in the exam and the candidates can navigate to any question directly by clicking on its number
  • Every correctly answered question will earn the candidate 4 marks and in case the candidate answers a question wrongly, he/she will be awarded a NEGATIVE credit of one mark as per the KLSAT exam pattern.
  • After completing the questions of a section in a sequence the candidates will be redirected to the first question of the section.
  • The candidate will be free to navigate through all the questions of all the sections as per the KLSAT exam pattern.
  • On test completion before the allocated time, the candidates will get a confirmation page with two alternatives of either completing the test or to go back to the test.
  • 70% of the questions will be of multiple choice types and the remaining 30% will be of the short answer type.

Scoring & Negative Marking:

All the questions will be of objective type scoring four marks (+4) for each correct response, minus one mark (-1) for each incorrect response & zero (0) for no response. So the candidates are advised not to respond to a question, if they are not sure about the answer. If a candidate will indicate more than one answer of a question, then it will be treated as incorrect and will fetch negative marks. For LLM & Ph.D there will be also subjective type questions.

Language of the Question Papers: Language of the questions will be in English. The questions will not be in any other language.

KLSAT Counselling Session:

The KLSAT Counselling schedule for particular ranks will be displayed on the website itself and the candidates have to appear for counselling as per that schedule. The counselling will be over as soon as the seats under annual intake of KIITEE are full.

The candidates have to go through a phase of document verification at the time of KLSAT counselling in which their personal credentials will be matched against the original certificates brought by them. The students who fail to produce the documents required at that time or who fail to provide genuine documents will be disqualified.
