About FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test

FLAME has a rigorous admission procedure that is designed to ensure that students who have the ability to explore and achieve, succeed. We follow a sliding principle for selection, where we shortlist candidates based on their overall performance in parameters like test scores, group discussion, personal interview, past academic record and extracurricular amongst others. FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test is to shortlist the applicants who applied for UG & PG Courses at Flame schools. Total duration of the FEAT shall be 120 minutes.

Eligibility

  1. In the case of Higher Secondary School Certificate or State Boards, CBSE and ICSE, 40% marks in 12th standard with English as one of the subjects is the minimum requirement. If you wish to pursue BBA subsequently, 45% is the minimum requirement in 12th standard.
  2. In the case of International Baccalaureate students, a diploma is the minimum requirement. International Baccalaureate certificate students are not eligible for admission.
  3. In the case of Cambridge University students (GCE/IGCSE/GCSE examinations of the approved British Examination Bodies), ‘A’ Level certificate is the minimum requirement with 5 (Five) subjects in A, B, C Grades including English at Ordinary (‘O’) Level and 2/3 (Two/Three) subjects at Advanced Level.
  4. In the case of Cambridge University students (GCE/IGCSE/GCSE examinations of the approved British Examination Bodies), ‘A’ Level certificate is the minimum requirement with 5 (Five) subjects in A, B, C Grades including English at Ordinary (‘O’) Level and 2/3 (Two/Three) subjects at Advanced Level.
  5. In order to be eligible to pursue the Honours degree program in Economics, you must have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at 12th or equivalent level.
  6. Candidates in their 12th standard or equivalent class can also apply, provided they can produce their 12th passing certificate / mark sheet before 31st August. Admission of such a candidate shall be strictly provisional till s/he submits a valid proof of passing the 12th or equivalent level examination before the prescribed last date, failing which the admission shall automatically stand withdrawn without any further notice.
  7. We accept SAT* scores if you do not wish to take FEAT. We do not specify a cut off score for SAT which would guarantee you an admission in FLAME, as the SAT score is only one of the parameters we consider for selection. Needless to say, a high SAT score improves your chances of selection.

Application Process

FLAME University has an online application process. You are required to provide information such as your entrance level tests scores, personal contact details, educational qualifications, achievements/ extracurricular activities and statement of purpose, etc.
An admission test is a mandatory qualifying criterion for admission to FLAME University. We have our own admission test called the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) for Indian applicants. We also accept SAT scores for admission. In the application form you need to indicate whether you wish to appear for FEAT.
The required documents to be submitted at the time of application are:
  1. Copy of 10th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet
  2. Copy of 10th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet certificate
  3. Copy of 12th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet, in case you have already qualified the same
  4. Copy of 12th standard (or equivalent) certificate, in case you have already qualified the same
  5. SAT score card (if applicable). Our DI Code is 6784.
  6. Copies of other certificates, transcripts, and testimonials (optional, but these documents may have relevance in assessing your candidature)
  7. Please complete all mandatory details carefully and accurately.
  8. You need not complete the application form in one sitting. You can save and return to the application form as many times as required, but before making the payment of application fee.
The application fee can be paid through the following modes:
  • Debit Card or Credit Card (All major cards except American Express)
  • Demand Draft: Please make a demand draft in favour of "FLAME School of Performing Arts", payable in Pune. In the application form, you can mention the demand draft details (such as the DD number, Bank, and Date). After submission, send the demand draft (with your application number mentioned behind) to FLAME (Foundation for Liberal And Management Education, 401, Phoenix Commercial Complex, Bund Garden, Opposite Residency Club, Pune- 411001, Maharashtra, India).
  • Purchase of scratch card from counselors
  • You could directly pay the application fee by cash to any of FLAME’s counselors and purchase a scratch card voucher. Please fill the number mentioned on the scratch card in the application form to proceed to submission.

Securing a good score in the examination is very important in order to secure admission.To secure a good rank in the entrance test it is very important to prepare accordingly. It is recommended that students obtain complete clarity on the examination pattern and then make a clear preparation plan.
