About Bharati Vidyapeeth University Medical Entrance Examination

The Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test is conducted every year by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed university. This test is for admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS undergraduate programme. The Test is conducted in metro-cities of India. The examination consists of a single question paper comprising two hundred objective type questions on Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the duration of 3 hours. It consists of 50 questions each on Physics and Chemistry and 100 questions on Biology. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking.

Eligibility

For admission to MBBS / BDS course:
  • To get admission in MBBS/BDS course the candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained atleast 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying examinations i.e., HSC or equivalent.
  • The candidate should also have secured at least 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at CET for admission to MBBS/BDS course.
For admission to BAMS / BHMS Course:
  • To get admission in MBBS/BDS course the candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology individually and must have obtained atleast 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together in the qualifying examinations i.e., HSC or equivalent.

Application Process

  • The application form for admission to CET is common for MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS courses and can be downloaded from the BVDU website
  • Application form shall be filled by the candidate in block letters with Black/Blue ball point pen and also have to be affixed with latest passport photograph.
  • Demand Draft towards form fee + Entrance exam fee shall be drawn in favour of the "Registrar, Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune" on any Nationalized Bank payable at Pune.
  • Offline application forms along with Demand Draft must be sent by hand or registered post / speed post / courier.
