The University of New England (UNE) is an Australian public university located in the city of Armidale in northern New South Wales. Students with IELTS 6.0 are required to complete 10 weeks at the University of Canberra English Language Institute (UCELI) before starting their degree programs (and be assessed from that course that they have attained a standard equivalent to IELTS 6.5, without sitting for the IELTS test again).
