Campus Infrastructure
Academic proficiency is the touchstone of any accomplished legal professional. In recognition of this proposition, the University’s Halls of Learning, popular among the students by the name “ACAD BLOCK” provides the requisite infrastructure and the desired ambience needed for quality legal learning. The gates of the Halls of Learning have the Preamble inscribed on them which in a very sub-conscious manner continue to remind the students of the core values of the Indian legal framework. The Halls of Learning include all classrooms, each of which are equipped with projectors and air-conditioners, comfortable faculty offices, which are accessible to the students, the Conference Hall, which has been the venue of the most important symposiums, seminars, conferences and lectures conducted by the University and Moot Court Halls. At a mere three minute-brisk walk distance from the Halls of Residence, the Halls of Learning provides the right kind of atmosphere to facilitate holistic education.
Library
Library is the sacro- sanctum of an educational institution. The Library of National Law University, Jodhpur is one of the leading law libraries of India with a variant collection spreading from different abstract of law, management, science and insurance collection. The majestic with fully Air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled, new library block started functioning from July, 2010.It has 2 exclusive reading halls, Digital Lab, Moot Court Discussion hall as well as Seminar Hall.
The Library caters to the information needs of over 1000 students, faculty, and other users. The Library is Fully-Automated with SOUL Software and uses Dewey decimal classification to classify the books. The Library has collection of books of over 15000 books and subscribes over 100 national & international Journals.
Laboratories
Ours is one of those few Universities which provide for both scientific temper and legal proficiency. In furtherance of our B.Sc LLB course, we have provided for fully furnished laboratories to ensure that the students acquire practical learning not just in Law but also in the affiliated science subjects.
Placements
National Law University, Jodhpur is being recognised as a ‘market facing law school in India’ by industry experts. Students of NLU have, with their hard work, sound legal knowledge and eagerness to grow, attained some of the best placements in India and abroad.
Students have been recruited by national regulators, senior counsels, reputed national and international law firms, corporates, and financial institutions. The pay packages offered by national law firms range between Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 16 lakh per annum, whereas, international law firms have offered packages between Rs. 28 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh per annum in the previous year. The pay packages of corporates range between Rs. 4.5 lakh to Rs. 11 lakh per annum for the previous year.
