Campus

Facilities
The MAIT campus is located in the extremely remote area of Rithala at Rohini Sector-22, North Delhi. The campus is spread over 10.5 acres (42,000 m2). It consists of one administrative block, eight educational blocks for other branches and two blocks for MAIMS (MBA, BBA & BJMC). The campus has a boy's hostel, multi-story library, canteen, amphitheatre, an auditorium, a football and cricket ground. There is also a branch of the Union Bank of India on the grounds.
Attendance
The institute is pretty strict about attendance; during the first year, however second year onwards students get an idea about all the teachers and their attendance patterns. An attendance of around 50% is the final limit, failing which parents are summoned and internal marks can be deducted. However, the institute does not practice in giving students year drops or year backs like other colleges. If one is good to faculty, he/she can expect the same treatment from faculty members.
Crowd
The institute is affiliated to Indraprastha University (IPU); hence most of the crowd is from New Delhi and other parts of NCR. One rarely gets to see a student from Outside Delhi or NCR. The crowd at MAIT is extremely helpful and quite amicable. The male to female ratio is quite low in some branches, which comes as no surprise (archetypal of engineering colleges).  The management college boasts of a more balanced male female ratio.
Placement

Students from all over the streams got placed with maximum being from CSE followed by ECE, MAE, IT and EEE. Totaling over 500 offers this year, Infosys was the highest recruiter followed by Cognizant. One offer from Microsoft was also bagged with Newgen, Nagarro and Practo Technologies constituting the new comers this year. Consulting firms like ZS Associates, Ernst & Young, etc also gave two figure offerings. Indian Army and Indian Navy also picked 15 and 5 students respectively.
