MES College of Engineering

Muslim Education Society College of Engineering or MES College of Engineering or MES Kuttipuram or MESCE, is the first self financing engineering college in the state of Kerala. The college was established in 1994, by the Muslim Education Society, as a minority institution. It was selected under the TEQIP (Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme) by the Government of India in 2004. The college offers around 8 undergraduate courses and houses more than 2700 students. It is considered to be one of Kerala’s best engineering colleges. Admission to the college is based upon marks scored in 10+2, and rank in the NATA for the Architecture course.

Campus

Infrastructure
The campus is located on the banks of the Bharathapuzha River near Kuttippuram town in the Malappuram district, and the campus is the largest among all other engineering colleges in India. The campus is aesthetically built and contains many structures like the Academic buildings, a Mosque, Auditoriums, Hostels and a canteen.
Library
The college boasts of an extremely well stocked and state-of-the-art central library, which has more than 45, 000 titles on Technology, around 300 national and International journals, and other reference material like CR-ROMs, DVDs, e-database, Journal reports etc.  The digital library can be accessed from anywhere using the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue).  The college provides access to a Digital library with access to e-journals, e-database, e-books 24*7, from anywhere on campus.
Placement
The Training and Placement Cell of MESCE handles all placement associated activities. It is run by student volunteers and faculty of MESCE. The Cell invites companies for placements and internships. Apart from organising pre-placement talks, the Cell also provides career guidance and training to students prior to placement tests and interviews. The pre-placement talks and interviews are held on-campus.
