Indian Institute of Management and Commerce

NDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND COMMERCE (IIMC) was founded in the year 1973 by Vasavi Foundation (settled by Vasavi Seva Kendram and Vysya Hostel Trust Board) with B.Com (Hons) Degree. Several eminent persons belonging to Vysya Community such as Sri K. Seethaiah Gupta, Sri G. Narayana Chetty, Sri C. E. Gupta, Sri Dundoo Balnarsiah, Sri V. Lingiah Gupta, Sri C. Som Raj Ram and Sri V. Durvasulu Gupta were instrumental in the establishment of the Institution.Indian Institute of Management and Commerce is located in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It offers around 5 undergraduate courses. Admission to the B.Com. (Hons.) course is subject to clearing a Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Osmania University Dept of Commerce every year. The test is conducted in June. Admission into all other courses is based on marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination. Classes begin in July.

Ranking Explanation
The college was ranked 43rd  for commerce courses in India by India Today magazine in the year 2017.The college was ranked 32nd in the country by 'India Today' in its survey in the year 2015 and it has established itself as a premier institution in field of commerce education in the country.

Library
Indian Institute of Management and Commerce has a rich collection of books and journals in addition to reference books for all the subjects. It also has a repository of business oriented literature like Plan Documents, Economic Surveys and Special Committee Reports.
Laboratory
The institute has a state-of-the-art computer laboratory equipped with 80 networked computers to cater to the requirements of B. Sc. and Commerce students. The institute also has a Commerce Lab that serves as a knowledge and information centre.
