ILS Law College

ILS Law College is a community of Students & Staff dedicated to bringing out the best in all of its members. Our aim is to provide the finest opportunities & environment for teaching, learning & research. We have a long distinguished record of academic excellence and innovation since the foundation of the college is 1924. The basic principal behind the foundation of ILS Law College was to establish a regularized system of imparting legal education. From 1924 to 2016 for over 92 years, we have endeavored and achieved this ambition and maintained our standards of excellence. Ranked amongst the top Law Colleges in the Country, we believe in creating a relaxed and flexible environment to allow students to grow and develop at their own pace. The courses offered here are a product of critical thought and careful experiment over many productive years. College Was Ranked as 4th Position For the Year 2017 and Ranked 8th For The Year 2016 In the category of Law Courses By India Today's Magazine.The college is one of the most renowned institutes for legal studies and is accredited with ‘A+’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is ranked amongst the top ten law colleges in the country by the India-Today ORG MARG survey.
Campus
The campus is located at the centre of Law College Road between the FTII (Film and Television Institute) and the Bhandarkar Research Institute. The Saraswati Building houses the library, the reading room, the administrative office, the conference hall and the principal's office, besides the chambers of other faculty members and computer facilities for research students. The Laxmi Building has fifteen halls for regular lectures, the legal aid centre and an auditorium that has a capacity of 400 people which is used for guest lectures, college functions and presentations.
Placement Cell
(A) Training & Placement Cell:
The Training and Placement Cell of ILS Law College, Pune handles campus placements of the BALL.B & LL.B graduating students. The Placement cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of placement process. Arrangements for Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Interviews and Group Discussions are made as per the requirement of the visiting companies.
(B) Objectives
To organize campus interviews for final year students with industries, law firms, organizations from all over India.
To prepare students to face campus interviews by arranging training, Personal interviews Group discussions through professional trainers.
Providing requisite training to students in soft skills.
(c) Placements policy for final placements (2017-2018)
A student can apply to any number of companies, however after receiving first offer; she/he would be out of placement process.
Eligibility for placement process will be based only when the student is passed in the placement examination.
Any communication from companies & vice a versa to student will be routed through Training & Placement office.
Student must ensure to inform Training & Placement office about opting out of final placement process due to personal reasons.
Training and Placement cell does not guarantee a job.
