Dental College and Hospital, Pune (BVDU)

Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital was established in 1989 and is affiliated to the Bharati Vidyapeeth University. The college is also recognised by the Dental Council of India. It is located in Pune, Maharashtra.

The college offers a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme at the undergraduate level. There are a total of 100 seats and admission to these courses is on the basis of the CET entrance test. Classes commence from July onwards.

The college has a unique, spacious, state of the art building with well ventilated and hygienic surroundings. It occupies a covered area of 207671.44 sq. ft. in an area of 5 acres. This gives ample space for all the curricular and extracurricular activities.
Library
The library is spacious, well-ventilated and well-equipped. It has 5787 books and a separate section with internet facility. Availability of 17 national and 60 international journals along with 1138 back issues is the distinguished feature of the college. Book exhibitions are regularly held to motivate and promote teaching and learning activity.a
Hostel
The college offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with wardens in each hostel to supervise the day to day management.  Each hostel operates its own mess and provides hygienic and nutritious meals thrice a day, as a part of the hostel fare, with varied menu that caters to a range of taste buds.  All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light.
Sports
A central sports ground facility is available for carrying out indoor and outdoor sports activities.  The sports ground is managed and maintained by the college of physical education. Following are the outdoor sports facilities available in the college:
