D.E.S. Law College

Deccan Education Society Law College or DES Law College was founded in 1885.  Bal Gangadhar Tilak and many distinguished others played a pivotal part in the founding.  The college is affiliated to University of Pune. The college is located inside Ferguson College Campus, on F.C. road in Pune, Maharashtra. It offers close to two undergraduate courses and over 50 trust based and non-college scholarships. The college has been known to churn out very astute lawyers in the past.  Admission to the college is based on merit.

Facilities
The campus is easily accessible from most parts of the city.It contains a well-stocked library and well ventilated and incredibly spacious classrooms.The college also provides hostel facilities to students, along with a well-equipped gymnasium and a computer lab.
Placement
The college provides placement services to the students. The placement cell acts as a single point of contact between the organisations and the students. The cell not only looks into placement of the students, but also looks into the training and grooming of students for interviews.  It conducts various mock aptitude tests and seminars to help the students.
