College Of Optometry, Pune (BVDU)

Bharati Vidyapeeth University Medical College established the School of Optometry in July 1998. In August 2000, the school was the first institute in India to get affiliate membership of World Council of Optometry.

The college offers one Bachelor in Clinical Optometry (B.Optom.) course at the undergraduate level. It offers a total of 25 seats and admission is based on the CET entrance exam. Classes commence from July onwards.

The college offers a large number of text books in its own library which are issued to the students on loan. There are also many reference books available in the library. It is open the whole day during the college timing for all students.
