Chandigarh College of Architecture

Chandigarh College of Architecture or CCA is a college which imparts Architecture studies to students from all over India. It is affiliated to Punjab University and was established in 1961 by the famous architect ‘Le Corbusier’, and it was part of the Chandigarh experiment. The college offers a single course on Architecture and offers more than 50 trust based and non-college scholarships. It enrols close to 200 students every year. Admission to the college is through the JEE Main and AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test)

Campus

Library
The college boasts of a centrally air conditioned library which has an extensive collection of about 17,000 titles on architecture and other related fields. The library also contains teaching aids like audio and videocassettes.
The library also has a wide array of CDs and videocassettes on a multitude of subjects like building, construction, computers, stanley home design software, low cost building, energy efficiency etc.
Computer Centre
The College has an air-conditioned computer centre.  The network is spread over many workstations and is used by dot-matrix printers, laser printer, and inkjet colour printers, 5 scanners, 4 Laptops and 3 plotters. The centre has close to 75 PCs and boasts of the latest CAD softwares. The centre also has a multi-media projector, which students use to present their ideas and projects on.
Hostels
The college provides adequate accommodation to both girls and boys, in separate hostel buildings. The boys hostel, Corbu House accommodates close to 100 students and is located in the college campus while Architecture Girls Hostel has 100 rooms and is located nearby in Sector 11-B.
Placement

The placement cell of the college plays a key role in arranging suitable placements in jobs for the students . Several leading companies are invited to hold campus interviews to select graduates from the college . The cell serves as a vital link between the young graduates and the prospective employers .All the students get placed with the leading architects and developers of the country.
